| Introduction | I was born in Shiga-ken, Japan, and lived there until I was 18. Growing up in Japan with an American mother and a Peruvian father, I've relied on Japanese, English, and Spanish for every part of my life since I could speak. I attended a local elementary school, a local junior high school, and a local high school, taking all of my classes in Japanese! After graduating with a B.S. in bioengineering in 2018, I gained invaluable experience at a Japanese-owned food manufacturer. I learned to speak and exchange emails with Japanese vendors and suppliers, using impeccable Keigo. 滋賀県で0歳から18歳まで暮らしました。父親はペルー出身、母親は米国出身で、幼少期からすべての場面において日本語、英語、スペイン語の3ヶ国語を使ってきました。小、中、高を通して日本の学校に通いましたので、読み・書き・話しはネイティブです。2014年には、カリフォルニア州のベイエリアに所在する大学を理系（バイオエンジニアリング）の学士をもって卒業しました。卒業後、2年弱にわたる日系企業での職務を通して日本では欠かせないビジネススキルを身に着け、現在は翻訳・通訳者としてこれまでの教養・語学・職務経験を活用しております。 |
